FAST FASHION

Matteo's mother owns a popular sustainable clothing store chain in Italy. A more responsible younger generation has led to a higher demand for clothes that are sourced ethically and made sustainably without slave labour.

Thanks to Monash academic Dr Kirsten Ellis' 'TapeBlocks', Alessandro has discovered his passion for STEM, all by creation his own circuits with specially designed conductive blocks.

LOST LEONARDO

The authenticity of the much-debated lost painting of Leonardo da Vinci 'Salvator Mundi' has finally been proven. The painting is returned to Italy for $750 million dollars.

LOW FODMAP

Matteo develops a skin condition, which is triggered by certain foods. He can identify what foods are causing the issues by following the FODMAP, a system developed by Monash University. It allows him to tailor a diet that alleviates the symptoms, and he signs up to receive the newly introduced low fodmap subscription box - DIY meal kits delivered to his door.

100% SUSTAINABLE FASHION

Milan Fashion week now only supports designers, fabrics and clothing that is 100% sustainably sourced. Leading the way for a new generation of ethically minded buyers and designers.

LUPUS

Matteo's first grandchild is diagnosed with Lupus, an auto-immune disease where the immune system attacks the owner's body instead of foreign things, like germs. Luckily for Matteo and his family, the new treatment - which was developed and trialed in Australia - is now available to Lupus sufferers worldwide.
